I've a few crazy things I've yet to do, including some more art for my Birthday Exchange! So be warned. :P And I'm just putting the final touches onto my daily_deviant fic which I must post today. It's Bill/Charlie chan- anyone want to do a quick beta for me?

I also need to find the drivers for my scanner (or rather the scanner I've stolen from my parents) so I can share the lovely art that redpiratemel made me for my birthday.

Then I must post a gigantic pimping post of all the fabu things that you lot have done for me!

And finally I must share the hysterical picture of me SQUEEing at my birthday cake.

Yes, I am trying to keep you busy for a while until at least SOME of your fic is ready. *winks* And if I were talented artistically, I'd make you a Tom/Minerva icon, but I'm worse at photoshopping than I am at maths. *ponders* Where are the Tom/Minerva Icons in the fandom?

Ahh, yesterday… A surprisingly nice day.

I woke up with birthday cards from family and friends and the Head Chef (tucked under my door). Opened the wonderful presents from malfoy_dragon (*hugs and love always*) and my parents. Got email love and silliness from you crazy people! THANK YOU! I’ll link to some of the fun later. But! *points to lovely new icon from persephone56*

We had a late breakfast then got off the ship and walked into the port of Costa Maya. Just a little fishing village transformed into a port largely to catch the overflow from Cancun/Cozumel. They only got electricity last year apparently. It was nice enough. Typical shopping tourist stuff. I did buy a large onyx sphere. *sighs happily at adding to her ‘crystal ball’ collection*

Came back to the ship and read a bit of GoF to Grams. She took a nap and I went off to write for a bit. Worked more on the story for xellas but then had a moment of inspiration and knocked out “56” for persephone56 in about 20 minutes. Bounded back to the cabin to wake Grams and read it to her. She cried. *laughs*

Dinner was by invitation to an exclusive dining room in which there were 3 other couples. The food, prepared by the head chef for us, was exquisite. Crab cakes that melted in your mouth, a thai chicken soup that was simply beautiful, and the Filet Mignon. *dies* God I’ve had some excellent meals in my life but… that was fantastic. And my weakness, as I had told the Chef the previous day, was served for desert. Crème brulee! Three different flavours: vanilla bean, coffee, and chocolate. *melts*

After dinner we changed clothes then went up poolside for the deck party. Great music, but not much dancing being done. And then the rain came through and the lightening and it was PERFECT! (I LOVE LOVE LOVE storms at sea.)

So a perfect ending to a lovely day. Today at sea all day, so I’m going to try to write. I still have some Dickinson drabbles to complete for citikitti, xellas, crossedkeys, hawaii5063, mingbutterfly, emeraldgreen, odessey01, queen_liah, sufergirl17 , and sidhe_aingeal.

Wow. That looks like a lot more than it does in my Word doc. *laughs* Time to actually write DRABBLES instead of 1,000 word ficlets. *shakes head grinning* I’m a freak. But I really do want to get most of these done before classes start again.

*runs and hides from all thoughts of university*

HAH! Still 2.5 hours to spare here in California! *giggles* Gotta love extended birthday hours, right???
